Remember me? The great sweater from Woodstock Design? The Sunday brunch? "Feeding Mrs. Moskowitz and The Caregiver?" Love reading your thoughts about the festival. My favorite reading from Abbie's students was "The Poverty Diet." Can't wait 'till next years festival. It's so empowering to be with others experiencing so many of the same hopes, dreams and insecurities!

From the Michigan Mom who came to the Woodstock festival for motivation to start writing about going from corporate America to the farm, your description of the weekend exactly matched mine, minus the ludicracy of trying to get wireless in the middle of the night....I was smart enough to stay in a B&B which provided wireless and where I could walk to the festival events at the same time they were slated to begin since they all started on "Woodstock time." Thanks for sharing the great pictures and for sharing your expertise on blogging with me. I look forward to reading this.

Some of my younger readers had no idea who Henny Youngman was so I probably should have said Seinfeld instead. But everybody has to know Groucho. My favorite Groucho story was told by former talk show host Dick Cavett who saw him one summer day walking down Fifth Avenue. He went up to his hero and said, "Groucho, I'm a big fan of yours." Without missing a step Groucho replied, "And if it gets any hotter I'll need a big fan."

Umm, cousin, do you own a mirror? You are easily the person in the family I would vote as "closest to ideal weight". That which you wish to trim down has a special name. Collectively, they're called "girl parts".

Put another way, those Peruvians would lose money on you.

Yours faithfully,

Cousin.

PS Back from Costa Rica. Pix soon.
